ABOUT AMPP OMAN

NACE & SSPC

are now AMPP.

The Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) unites the world's leading organizations in corrosion control and protective coatings: NACE International and SSPC.

The AMPP Oman Chapter is a representative of the international Association of Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP). The aim of the chapter is to create a networking environment that connects the local and GCC and MEA experts in the field of materials protection and performance to the global audience by organizing events and conferences that are utilized to support the mission of the chapter.

Critical Infrastructure Challenge

Why We Exist

The data is clear: Corrosion is the dominant threat to energy security. In the Oil & Gas sector alone, internal and external corrosion account for nearly 65% of all infrastructure failures.

The AMPP Oman Chapter is dedicated to reducing this statistic. Through our 2026 Knowledge Series, we bring world-class expertise to local engineers, focusing directly on the mitigation of these specific failure modes through advanced material selection, chemical treatment, and cathodic protection design.
